Since our humble beginnings in 2012, we have grown from 1 converted van to 30 and counting. We expanded our transportation options by employing sustainable planning to help more passengers get to medical appointments on-time and safely.

BJT serves 9 different counties in Illinois: LaSalle, DuPage, Kane, Cook, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, Will, and Grundy.

Narcrissa Berry is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of B Jays Transportation, Inc. (BJT), a MBE/WBE/DBE paratransit firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. As CEO of BJT, for over 10 years, under her leadership, her team delivers over 45,000 annual non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) trips to seniors, the disabled, and the physically challenged.

Since their humble beginnings in 2012, BJT has grown from 1 converted van to a multi-million dollar firm with a fleet of over 30 paratransit vans. Mrs. Berry was able to strategically expand suburban transportation options by employing sustainable planning to help more passengers get to medical appointments on-time and safely. Additionally, she founded BJT to fill transportation skills gaps and to provide more employment opportunities to underserved and underrepresented communities.

Mrs. Berry has a deep understanding of transportation markets, products, and profitability structures. Her ability to lead makes her a thought leader in the NEMT sector. Furthermore, Mrs. Berry has been the recipient of a host of grant awards from the Chicago Recovery Plan Community Development Grant (Round 1) to the Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) to the Allies for Community Business (A4CB) Back to Business (B2B) Grant and Business Interruption Grant (BIG) in Chicago.
